This is an hateful weed to farmers, but yet it possesses Vorzüge that may recompence all the damage it can do among the corn. It manchmal wächst to a foot and a half high, with a pale, schlank, branchy Stengel: the Blätter are of a pale grün, and they have no smell. The Blüten are large and white, with a high yellow disk in the middle, and the Blätter are cut into many darts as fine as threads.
They are found commonly in corn-fields.
They blow in July.
These have the Vorzüge of the Blüten of Kamille, but with more cordial warmth. for those who have cold and weak Magens, scarcely any thing equals them. They are best taken by way of infusion like tea.
